Our Campus
The Tuck School of Business is located in Hanover, New Hampshire, on the banks of the Connecticut River in the heart of New England. Tuck is part of Dartmouth College, a member of the Ivy League. Our comfortable, top-notch facilities foster informal interactions among community members and offer easy access to the latest technology.
Located at the west end of Dartmouth's beautiful 200-acre campus, Tuck's interconnected buildings provide an integrated living and learning environment.
Academic & Administrative Buildings
Tuck's first-class academic and administrative buildings contain large and small classrooms, group study rooms, conference rooms, lounges, a business/engineering library, and offices for faculty and staff. A wide range of study spaces are available around campus.
Tuck's cutting-edge information technology environment offers the latest in desktop and mobile computing along with facilities for video conferencing, multimedia production, data visualization, and group collaboration. Wireless internet access is available throughout campus.
Tuck students have access to Feldberg Library and its renowned collection of business and management periodicals, newspapers, directories, and online resources. Students may also use Dartmouth's many other libraries, as well as the collections in all seven other Ivy League schools.
Residential Buildings
Residential living is a foundation of the Tuck culture, which includes teamwork and the building of lifelong relationships. Students and partners live on or near campus, making spontaneous social events and shared activities a way of life. Tuck's residential character is one important reason that Tuck alumni are among the most loyal of all the business school in the world.
Tuck's Whittemore Hall and the newly opened Achtmeyer Hall, Raether Hall, and Pineau-Valencienne Hall provide private living accommodations for first-year students and facilities for the entire Tuck community. These buildings also include social areas, study rooms, class rooms, exercise facilities, and business resource centers.
Second-year students live off campus in rental apartments and houses, many of which are handed on to successive groups of Tuck students from year to year. Many students with partners or children rent town houses in Sachem Village, Dartmouth's graduate student housing complex.
Athletic & Cultural Facilities
Tuck students also have access to Dartmouth's athletic facilities, including the fitness center; tennis, squash, basketball, and racquetball courts; swimming pools; dance studio; ice rink; and running tracks. Dartmouth also operates the nearby golf course, boathouse, Morton Farm riding center, and Skiway—all available for Tuck student use. Some Tuck students also enjoy Dartmouth's Ivy League spectator sports.
Dartmouth's Hopkins Center for the Arts offers a broad range of locally and internationally produced theater, music, dance, and film. The Hood Museum of Art presents exhibitions of fine art from all cultures and periods, including shows drawn from the college's own extensive collection, specially organized loan exhibitions, and traveling exhibitions.
